VENTILATION SYSTEM SERVICING

Mechanical ventilation systems should be serviced annually. Annnual servicing and regular filter changes are fundamental to long term performance inside a home or commercial building. When a ventilation system is clogged with dust and debris, it can't do the job it's supposed to. This can often result in issues with condensation, mould, excessive noise and more.

At Duct-Air, we offer two ranges of ventilation system servicing including a heat recovery service (MVHR) and a central extract service (MEV).

Ventilation, air conditioning and air movement inside buildings and homes will play a fundamental role in ensuring transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is minimised indoors because it will help dilute any virus particles in the area and minimise any moisture settling on surfaces.

If you are returning to the office, school or other type of workplace, are you sure your ventilation and air conditioning systems are doing the job they are supposed to? What are the guidelines for ventilation and air conditioning during the Coronavirus Pandemic?

New guidance and best practice has been published in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic: How to use and operate Building Services in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) virus (SARS-CoV-2) in workplaces.

This guidance concentrates on Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems and there are recommendations around how systems should and shouldn’t operate and what to prioritise in respect of system performance, set up and maintenance.
